Secrets for Android is a tool that allows you to securely store and manage passwords and secrets on your Android device. It has been designed to work with PCSecrets, a tool that synchronizes the data stored on the PC with the mobile device.
Main features
It lets you create secure password vaults that are protected by a PIN or fingerprint.
The user can choose between two types of encryption: AES-256 or Twofish-256. The latter requires root access. It includes an option to automatically generate random passwords for each vault. The app shows the number of failed attempts to open each vault. The user can set up automatic backups of the vaults in case the phone is lost or stolen. It supports multiple vaults per account, which means it can be used as an online backup service (or how to upgrade to a new phone). If you have more than one account, you will need PCSSync (available from source forge). This companion app keeps track of all changes made by the user: creation, deletion, change password... You will also be able to see which vaults are opened most often and which ones are not used anymore. It also shows a list of all accounts and their security status so that the user can check if there are any issues with his/her accounts at any time. As well as this, it lets you export all the information stored in a CSV file so that it can be imported into other applications such as Google Drive or Dropbox or sent via email or SMS message. And it even lets you search for specific information using different criteria such as username, password, secret phrase... And much more!
